Our HVAC client is looking for a Business Applications Manager. The Business Applications Manager will serve as the strategic leader and in-house expert overseeing all aspects of key business systems primarily focused on Service Titan and Intacct. This person will Provide Field Management Service software and accounting system support to the business, participate in Company Information Systems projects across diverse business lines within the company, and work with IT and business management across diverse businesses to assess systems information needs and correspond with vendors to ensure resolution of key issues. Only candidates with specific knowledge of the software ServiceTitan will be considered. This is a contract to hire position that operates onsite in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage information systems and provide architectural and business requirement inputs to the project
  • Act as a Business Systems Analyst and guides users
  • Analyze potential solutions to meet business needs
  • Coordinate with business partners to define scope and act as a point of contact
  • Coordinate with external vendors and other operations personnel to manage data conversions and new implementations
  • Plan and implement effective testing processes to ensure deliverables adhere to standards
  • Develop a culture of continuous process improvement
  • Analyze, design and implement process improvement changes across different departments to increase system utilizations and increase efficiency
  • Review and implement features offered in software upgrades
  • Perform gap analysis and define requirements to address the gaps
  • Collaborate with technology teams and business users to manage implementation, training options, and support
  • Generate and manage quality control reports, management reports, status reports and system assessment reports
  • Contribute to Business, Application and, Data Architecture planning processes
  • Manage other employees responsible for managing and maintaining ServiceTitan and Intacct
  • Other assignments as identified and directed by the CIO

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or adequate experience is required
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in the home services industry (electrical, HVAC, plumbing) preferred
  • A proven track record of managing information systems, managing staff, collaborating with business leaders, and being able to work in complex environments
  • Knowledge of ServiceTitan, Intacct and other field service management systems is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • Strong business acumen, leadership / managerial skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Personal and professional integrity, strong communication skills and an excellent professional appearance and presentation
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills along with considerable tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to work collaboratively and via influence as a member of a team
