Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services organization is seeking a Business Applications Portfolio Manager. This position can be performed as a virtual telecommuter.

He/she will research, design, develop, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. The incumbent will be involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections. Candidate must possess skills that allow for road mapping of smaller application systems. This work entails analyst to determine the lifecycle of the application system. Much of the existing portfolio work will be done within ServiceNow specifically the APM module.

Additional Duties include:
  • Communicate frequently and effectively with APM users/app owners and brief leadership and sector CIO teams
  • Configure and send out certification tasks and scoring assessments in the APM module
  • Develop and maintain strategic roadmap for the APM module
  • Define APM enhancement requirements based on strategic roadmap
  • Perform portfolio rationalization activities
  • Report on application portfolio health to leadership
  • Support the development and maintenance of application roadmaps within portfolio
  • Define and maintain APM processes and governance
  • Support and interface frequently with the common service data model (CSDM) and configuration management database (CMDB) teams
  • Work with developers and ServiceNow teams to develop and deliver APM enhancements as defined by the strategic roadmap
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience; 4 years with a Masters degree. (Appropriate combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of the degree)
  • Working Knowledge of ServiceNow
  • Ability to create macros/manipulate data in Spreadsheets
  • Understanding of the Application lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of Safe Agile
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience APM Module of ServiceNow
  • Certifications in Agile/Scrum
  • Certifications in AWS or Azure
  • Experience using Agile Management Tools, such as the Atlassian Suite or Azure DevOps
  • Organized

Salary Range: $114,300 USD - $171,500 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
