The Lead Butcher is responsible for creating and maintaining quality experiences for each guest that visits Eataly’s Retail Meat Counter. Reports to the Fresh Market Manager.Cleans, cuts, weighs, packages and labels meat in accordance with Eataly’s high-quality standardsProvides outstanding customer service: assists guests in selecting products and shares knowledge of preparation and cooking techniquesStocks counter neatly, accurately and in a timely manner as per pricing menuMaintains a clean, organized and sanitary station according to Department of Health standardsOrders and monitors inventory for the departmentSupervises, trains and motivates the team to increase sales, standards and efficienciesParticipates in meetings with managers as requestedDistributes supplies throughout retail counter and ensures supplies are being utilized properlyPerforms other duties as required or assigned
