Description:Looking for a low voltage helper. Work with include installation of fire alarm, access control, cctv, and intrusion systems. 50% commercial 50% residential work Will consist of running cable and conuit. Trimming out security devices. Fire alarm devices installed include pull stations, strobes, speakers, relays, smoke detctors, etc. Access control devices in stalled include card readers, maglocks, door strikes, push buttons, key pads, motion detectors etc. Intrusion(burglar alarm) devices installed include door sensoors, motion sensors, window sensors, alarm, thermostats, glass breaks, etc Structured Cabling Technician will: Climb ladder, Pull CAT6 cable, ability to carry up to 50 lbs, cabling in a residential or commercial environment. Maintain strict adherence to company and client safety standards. Pull cable through drop ceilings. Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders. Submit timesheet on time daily. Assist other members of the team with installation. Work full time Monday to Friday shift Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Skills & Qualifications:High School degree or equivalent preferred Qualifications: Military service in the United States Armed Forces preferred. Available to work full time Monday through Friday with willingness to work OT if needed. Structured cabling, residential cable installation experience is a plus Construction experience a plus Ability to listen carefully to follow instructions. Exhibit a positive attitude. High attention to detail Self-motivated and excellent work ethic Demonstrated teamwork and versatility in integrating into multiple work environments. Must be able to read and understand instructions in English as well as possess good oral & written communication skills.
