Cash Application Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist in Boynton Beach, Florida. The role is pivotal to our operations and involves a range of accounting functions, primarily focusing on cash activity and accounts receivable. The specialist will be responsible for data processing using accounting software systems and ensuring accurate application of payments.Responsibilities: Handle the processing of customer credit applications in a precise and timely manner Utilize accounting software systems for data entry tasks Oversee and manage accounts receivable, ensuring all payments are accurately applied Perform billing functions and manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes Maintain and update customer credit records accurately Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate action when necessary Resolve customer inquiries related to their credit applications and accounts Ensure smooth cash activity by accurately tracking and documenting all transactions.
