Job Summary/Company:Sparks Group has partnered with a government contractor to find a Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization candidate. This is a direct hire role that is 100% onsite. You will ensure the CENTRIXS network meets the necessary cybersecurity compliance requirements. Responsibilities:- Perform cybersecurity assessments
- Collaborate with vendors/SMEs to integrate ACAS scan results/reporting for compliance automation
- Interpret, analyze, and report all events and anomalies in accordance with computer network directives
- Evaluate, test, recommend, coordinate, monitor, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and systems including access management for hardware, firmware, and software
- Develop techniques/procedures for conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and compliance audits
- Mentor less experienced team members
Qualifications/Background Profile:- 8+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, ACAS administrator, or engineer
- Comprehensive knowledge of data security administration principles, methods, and techniques
- Experience with Tenable Nessus software (ACAS) operating in an enterprise environment
- ACAS proficiency with a focus on vulnerability scan policy, DISA best practices, and agent manager deployment
- Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II
- Work Status: due to government requirements, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
- Clearance Type: Secret clearance
