Preparation and Production Of Weekly Bulletin,monthly newsletter, weekly social media postings and Annual Report.
Management of the Church office and records
Assistance with Financial Operations
Servings as in-person and telephone receptionist
Provide administrative support for Pastor,Church Staff and ministry teams.
Maintenance of the Church Calendar
Preparation and production of weekly bulletin, monthly newsletter/social media, and Annual Report
Preparation and production of the weekly bulletin and monthly newsletter/social media is an important part of the Church Office Administrator role. The position will work closely with Pastor and Church Staff as well as the chair of the Media Team to fulfill these responsibilities.
Additionally, the Church Office Administrator coordinates the preparation of the Annual Report with input from the Staff and the ministry teams.
Management of the Church Office and Records Management of the Church office includes:
Procuring,maintaining inventory and overseeing storage of office supplies
Maintaining office equipment and arranging for repairs as needed
Receipt And Distribution Of Mail
Keeping the bulletin boards Current,including news of members,birthdays/anniversaries, community events, Church Calendar and
announcements
Maintaining Files And Database in CDM
Maintaining Membership Records,pictureboards, Overseeing volunteer office workers,including managing the request for volunteers
Assisting outside vendors-e.g.HVAC,etc.–and helping coordinate the scheduling and performance of maintenance and repairs
Assistance with Financial Operations
The Church Administrator assists Treasurer in the following ways:
Receiving And Distributing Bills For Verification
Posting completed payment requests into CDM Mailing And Filing Checks
Maintaining Paid Invoice Files
Maintaining Petty Cash Fund
Maintaining Records Of Memorial Gifts,notification and thank you notes
Generating And Distributing Financial Reports
Serving as in-person and telephone receptionist
The Church Office Administrator is often the first person that members and guests come into contact with at FCC. The Church Administrator is expected to greet people warmly, provide assistance answering questions and directing them as needed. The Church Administrator is responsible for passing along messages to the appropriate individuals when needed.
Provide administrative support for Pastor, Church Staff and ministry teams. This includes:
Working with the Church Staff and teams, develop and maintain the Church Calendar.

Ability to work well with others – including members of the staff, congregation, guests and volunteers.
Demonstrated high level of proficiency in MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Knowledge - or a willingness to learn - the operating software, CDM a must. Knowledge of databases and publishing software is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to details. Must be able to manage processes.
Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
