Civil Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design experience in multi-acre retail developments that include utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence, and permitting.

Develop and review engineering designs, plans, and specifications in compliance with

City, Counties, SFWMD, FDEP, and FDOT standards. Prepare and submit required documentation for permits and approvals.

Working knowledge and the ability to build plan sets and other construction documents.

Participates in representing the client and the project at regulatory agency hearings or meetings.

Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited university

Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain

a license in a year or two.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.

A working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.
