Description The Cloud Architect is responsible for the technical strategy, operational efficiency, and automation for the Services infrastructure environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Designing, developing, and testing IaC solutions for IaaS and PaaS solutions for on-prem or Cloud platforms. Support DevOps operations by integrating developed IaC into CI/CD pipeline builds3.Develop documentation utilizing standardized templates including Installation and Configuration Guides, design, and engineering plans.Write other non-template documentation as needed to support tasks like process and procedures documents for operational support, lessons learned, diagrams, systems administration guidelines, systems set-up documentation, hardware integration test plans, and results.Provide support in validating and verifying requirements, requirements analysis, and decomposition, requirements test/verification/validation, and reporting. Manage, maintain, and enhance current and future baselines. This effort will encompass hands-on technical engineering efforts required to define, develop, test, and implement software baselines. Apply today for immediate consideration!Requirements EXPERIENCE-Cloud architect level experience with Azure and preferably with AWS and GCP-Building and releasing infrastructure-as-code (IAC) in a controlled environment with an understanding of full lifecycle configuration management-Experience developing coding/scripting to build required automation and tools using Azure DevOps offering, Chef, Ruby, YAML, JSON, Python, Bash, Azure CLI, PowerShell.SKILLS AND ABILITIES-Demonstrated ability to work with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code “IAC” practices-Experience in Microsoft Azure services beyond basic IaaS functionality-Proven knowledge of Azure Cloud offerings-Engineering experience in building production infrastructure using code and repeatable designs-Proven ability to embrace, use and promote modern development practices (DevOps, Agile, CI/CD, cloud-native design, and Release pipelines as well as code-driven workflows)-Worked with major cloud providers (AZURE, AWS, GCP)-Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience evolving to Agile development lifecycles-Demonstrated ability to work within a complex and fast-paced environment-Proven ability to work both alone and collaboratively in a team environment-Ability to prepare and review technical documents Must be flexible, open-minded, a self-starter, team player, supportive, detail-oriented, ability to multitask, and well organized-Strong customer service focus, skills, and background.-It is expected that the incumbent will make recommendations consistent with priorities, create new ideas and processes, deliver results, drive continuous innovation, and demonstrate business sense.-Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
