Collections Specialist

Process bankruptcy filings correctly when received

Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

Register all customer payments to the correct reports

Process Payments

Maintain and update customer files to ensure data integrity

Lead all billing and reporting activities according to deadlines

Act as mediator in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

Handle inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

Abide by all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act Requirements

1+ year of collections experience and working accounting knowledge

Experience using accounting software

Data entry with great customer service skills

Strong communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Microsoft Excel experience
