Description We are a growing private equity firm with a strong portfolio of small to mid-sized businesses, we are seeking a Compliance Analyst to support and enhance our firm's regulatory and financial compliance framework.Position Overview:The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring regulatory and financial compliance across the firm and its portfolio companies. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently, maintain confidentiality, and oversee quarterly financial compliance certifications. The ideal candidate will have a business degree and experience in paralegal work, tax, audit, or accounting.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee compliance reporting and certifications for the firm and portfolio companies.
Distribute, track, and ensure completion of quarterly financial compliance certifications.
Maintain and enforce confidentiality policies across financial and operational data.
Work closely with legal, finance, and investment teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist with audits, financial compliance reviews, and regulatory filings.
Monitor and improve internal compliance procedures to align with industry best practices.
Serve as the main point of contact for compliance-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Background in paralegal work, tax, audit, or accounting is highly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Experience managing compliance reporting within a financial services or investment firm is a plus.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
