Computer Provisioner

We are looking to hire a Computer Provisioning Technician who is eager to display and further develop their technological skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about both Windows & Mac computers, takes pride in their work, enjoys working at a pace, and be responsible for timely results.Core Responsibilities

• Provision multiple computers a day (including display and attached peripherals)
• Install and upgrade computer components, add new systems to the network, test for basic functionality of hardware
• Install software and security patches: ensure provisioned computers are up to date with all security patches currently reported as necessary
• Participate in the processing of obsolete equipment, following decommissioning procedures
• Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed records for each computer build in the ticketing system
• Perform assembly activities prior to and upon completion, such as cleaning and organizing
• Participate in maintaining the inventory/stock of all IT hardware and accessories
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of in-facility workstations and IT equipment
• Participate in the packing, tracking, shipping & receiving for computer equipment, accessories, and replacements out of the facility
• Testing of new hardware & operating systems
• Assist the Service Desk and other teams with troubleshooting and technical support when needed as they relate to computer build

• Proven expertise building Windows OS, Mac OS & Apple IOS devices
• Ability to deliver a high volume of work in stressful situations
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to follow directions, work with minimal supervision
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Current college or tech school student in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or related field

• Experience with Jira Service Management ticketing system
• Basic networking skills
• Experience with JAMF, Intune, ConnectWise Automate
• Experience with executing scripting (PowerShell, etc.) and automation tools
• Experience with windows security & patch management
• CompTIA A+ or related hardware certifications preferred
