The Concrete Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of concrete construction projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion. This individual will be a key member of the construction team and will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule concrete construction projects, taking into consideration budget, timelines, and resources

Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to ensure smooth execution of projects

Oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure that all work is completed according to project plans and specifications

Monitor progress and quality of work, identifying and addressing any issues or delays

Maintain a safe and efficient construction site, following all safety protocols and regulations

Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing updates on project status, issues, and resolutions

Manage and maintain project budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities

Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards

Provide direction and guidance to construction crew members, promoting teamwork and productivity

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred)

At least 5 years of experience in concrete construction, with a focus on underground utilities and civil projects

Prior experience as a Superintendent in a construction setting

Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications

Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations

Experience with budget management and cost control
