Description We are offering an opportunity as a Controller. This role is essential to our operations and involves managing and improving capital account statements, cash planning, and models. This role is particularly suitable for someone with skills in 'Private Equity', 'Private Equity Fund', and is a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Review and enhance capital account statements, cash planning, and models for management activities and funds Collaborate with tax advisor to enhance existing reporting, including cash flow reporting, management company reporting, GP/LP commitments, and cash planning Ensure alignment between Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs) and operational components such as carry, waterfall calculation, and capital statements Work on improving cash planning, particularly for expected annual income and estimated taxes Regularly review and update models for both the management company and the funds Ensure accurate reporting on management company activities, GP/LP commitments, and cash planning Collaborate with different teams to ensure alignment between operational components and LPAs Maintain accurate and updated records of all activities related to the role Address inquiries related to capital account statements, cash planning, and models in a timely and accurate manner Ensure adherence to all company policies and regulatory requirements in all tasks.Requirements Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position. Proven expertise in Private Equity and Private Equity Fund management. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial control procedures. Proven experience in budget development and oversight. Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. Exceptional leadership and management skills. Proficient in the use of accounting software and other relevant computer applications. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. High degree of professionalism and ethical standards. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is mandatory. A Master’s degree would be advantageous. Experience in strategic planning and risk management at the Controller level.
