This role will strategize, write, edit and manage marketing and user experience copy efforts for a number of websites, mobile apps and onsite digital products-while applying aspects of both our design and copywriting style guides. Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit and maintain copy for various digital experiences and platforms, including websites and mobile apps, to meet specific business objectives
  • Create specific types of content in various forms within established, approved processes
  • Develop, maintain and follow appropriate style guide rules to target key users, while maintaining digital portfolio consistency
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including content strategists, interaction and visual designers, search analysts, technology teams and legal partners, to cultivate appropriate marketing tactics and storytelling strategies
  • Regularly attend marketing and internal team meetings and reviews
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years industry experience writing online marketing and user experience copy for websites and digital platforms, including apps
  • Excellent writing skills including impeccable spelling and grammar, with a strong emphasis on the guest experience
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload, prioritize multiple projects and work well under pressure of deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think critically and organize information for online and mobile publication
  • Knowledge of interactive technologies, information architecture and the use of keywords for search engine optimization
  • Writing samples (online editorial portfolio) that establishes versatility-in style, tone and type of material
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office productivity software, Google Docs, Jira and Slack
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of creative development and website production processes
  • Writing for social networks and emerging platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team building efforts
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested
