ORACLE CPQ - Systems Analyst

Location : 100% Remote

Contract length: 3-6 months with very likely extension (Possible conversion to FTW - W2 candidates only) SMCI is seeking talented candidates for a consulting opportunity supporting an Oracle CPQ/BigMachines environment with Level II & III support. The CPQ Systems Analyst will solve computer problems, test cost-effective solutions, and provide support to ensure efficient daily operation of the company's network and computer systems.

Primary responsibilities include: Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 end user support and troubleshooting of both sales systems (Oracle CPQ) and middleware including:
  • Quote and order processing issues
  • Pricing and calculation issues
  • Data issues and anomalies
  • Permissions and access issues
  • System integration issues
  • Bug and defect analysis and remediation using system configurators, BML (Big Machines Extensible Language), SQL, JavaScript.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify necessary modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements
  • Investigate and resolve application functionality-related issues
  • Participate in monthly deployments including preparation of deployment plans and execution of production deployment changes.

Preferred Experience: JD Edward EnterpriseOne (ERP), TIBCO (API Integration), and COGNOS Business Intelligence . Any experience with. Net Core, ASP.Net or Java is preferred .

Secondary Responsibilities include:
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IS software projects and initiatives
  • Assist in managing outsourced relationships for third party application development and programming consultants
  • Analyze data contained in the corporate database and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implementing solutions
  • Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology
  • Perform coding in support of small projects and ad hoc defect remediation
  • Assist with database maintenance
  • Write technical specifications
  • Assist in the creation of the system design and functional specifications for all new development projects
  • Write release plans and deploy code for sales systems
  • Perform integration testing of enterprise systems
  • Assist with post implementation validation

Compensation:
  • The estimated pay range for this position is USD $75.00/Hr - USD $80.00/Hr and is an Exempt role.
