Renesas Electronics America, Inc. is looking for a Data Traceability Engineer to support the development and maintenance of data traceability solutions with artificial intelligence and analytics applications. This entry-level role works with Customer Quality, Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to help organize, connect, and validate data used to improve product quality, customer insights, and operational decision-making.  The successful candidate will apply foundational skills in data engineering, AI/ML concepts, and software development to support data lineage, metadata management, dataset quality, and end-to-end traceability. The role provides hands-on learning opportunities under the guidance of experienced engineers.  Key Responsibilities   Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines that capture AI dataset lineage and processing history  Document data sources, transformations, ownership, versions, and usage across AI workflows  Support metadata catalogs, data dictionaries, and traceability dashboards  Perform data validation and investigate missing, inconsistent, or incorrectly linked records  Help develop scripts and tools that automate data lineage, audit trails, and traceability checks  Assist with monitoring dataset quality and resolving traceability issues with engineering teams  Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements  Follow data governance, security, privacy, and quality standards
