Description We are in search of a diligent Customer Service Representative to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. You will be working in a trucking terminal environment, serving as the primary point of contact for our customers. The role involves handling customer calls, data entry, and ensuring smooth operations within the company. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle incoming customer calls and provide detailed information promptly Regularly monitor email requests and respond with detailed information in a timely manner Process dock receipt for import bookings and maintain the corresponding spreadsheet Maintain a driver sign-in log and a cash log file Perform daily audits on all outbound shipments Arrive inbound manifest and close out outbound manifest in the AS400 Notify customers daily of freight availability Maintain files in order as outlined in the operations procedures and policy manual Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for various tasks including Outlook, Word, Excel and internet browsing Maintain a positive attitude, multitask effectively, and ensure quick data entry and efficient scheduling. Requirements Prior experience of 2 or more years as a Customer Service Representative. Proficiency in Intermodel Logistics and Logistics. Strong customer service skills and ability to handle client queries efficiently. Proficiency with AS400 and Microsoft Excel. Experience in Air Freight, Ground Transportation, and Air Transportation. Knowledge of Transportation Services and Transporting. Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to urgency. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and technology.
