The Print Cutter Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining print cutting equipment to ensure high-quality output and efficient production. The ideal candidate will have experience in the print industry, solid technical skills, and a keen eye for detail.Talent will be working on the printing cutter. Will lift stacks of printed paper, place onto cutter, set size of dimensions into computer with decimal knowledge and perform cuts. Will inspect materials and prepare for shipment. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and read a ruler.Key Responsibilities:
Setup and Operation: Set up and operate print cutting machines, including guillotines, die cutters, and other cutting equipment, according to job specifications.
Quality Control: Inspect printed materials before and after cutting to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Job Coordination: Coordinate with the print production team to prioritize jobs, meet deadlines, and maintain workflow efficiency.
Material Handling: Load and unload materials, and ensure proper alignment and positioning for precise cutting.
Safety Compliance and documentation
