Our client in South Florida is looking for a fully remote Cyber Security Engineer that will be part of the Application Security (DevSecOps) team and work closely with in-house software development teams/vendors/third-party organizations to ensure that security, privacy, and compliance requirements are planned for, designed, and built into software applications. In addition to securing software, this person will need to maintain cyber knowledge to optimize and align with the companies application security processes and systems throughout the Secure Software Development Lifecycle. This role will be involved with programming and act as the security plug to fill the security gaps on the software team. Strong knowledge and understanding of programming languages and the ability to understand code is essential. Ideal candidate will be able to know how to get into coding, secure and know what that means to have it done. AWS Certified Developer; Microsoft AZ-204 certifications
AWS DevOps Engineer; Microsoft AZ-400 certificationsGSEC, GISP, CISA, Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CISM, CASP+, CGEIT, CISSP, CCSP certifications5 years of experience within the security aspects of software engineering/DevSecOps/programmingExperience building, deploying, and automating application security testingStrong experience with programming languages Python, JavaScript, CExperience with algorithms (cryptographic, cache, hashing)Strong hands on cloud experience/cloud architecture (preferably AWS)Experience with .
