Our direct client in the insurance industry is looking for a contract to hire Data and Reporting Analyst for their Downtown Orlando office. Within Field Operations, the Data & Reporting Analyst will assist in managing data, report design / creation, quality, and business automation surrounding their sales organization. Typical responsibilities including developing data quality standards / business rules around data, developing analytic scorecards and reports, and using other business tools to automate processes. This position will be a member of a team dedicated to building, deploying, and driving sales using technology and product innovation to drive more sales. From researching progressive systems solutions to evaluating their impact, the ideal candidate is a detailed planner, expert communicator, and top-notch analyst. You should be wholly committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and document business requirements of the business for reporting
  • Analysis of data to identify patterns / trends that may yield greater sales results / adoption
  • Design and build new reports and dashboards for the company to assess and measure performance
  • Work cross-functionally with IT, Business, and Field stakeholders
  • Work with vendors and other third parties on special projects
  • Identify opportunities to automate business processes that would otherwise be manual of costly.
  • Actively seek to expand programming knowledge by leveraging a variety of sources on the internet or other professional education outlets

Qualifications

  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel or related Microsoft tools for data analysis, manipulation, clean-up, testing, presentation, etc.
  • 3-5 years of business experience (preferably in insurance, banking, or other financial industries)
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from said research
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under pressure
  • Knowledge of insurance agent / broker / carrier operations is a is a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
