Job Description: Job Description:JOB SUMMARY: The Data Engineer is responsible for the design, development, operation, and maintenance of Information Technology computer systems and software applications. The Data Engineer uses technical knowledge to solve business problems, by means of a systematic and disciplined approach. This position employs software, hardware, and/or communication technologies to accomplish assignments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Designs, develops and implements computer systems and software applications.

2. Build and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, & functions in Oracle 11g and higher databases.

3. Write complex SQL queries across database to extract and analyse data.

4. Develop and maintain Informatica ETL jobs .

5.Develop and manage data loads via Azure Data Factory.

6. Experience with Requirements Definition, mapping and gap-analysis.

7. Participates in the testing and certification process.

8. Remains current with industry trends in order to conceive, prototype and recommend technical approaches for IT systems and solutions that meet business needs.

Requires a Bachelor s degree in area of specialty, or equivalent experience 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related areaKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

1. Strong experience with Oracle 11g or higher database2. Experience working with Informatica Power Center3. Working knowledge of Azure data factory4. Knowledge of Synapse will be a plus.5. Knowledge of Databricks will be plus.
