Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Sector is currently seeking a Data Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Talent Acquisition Operations team. This position will be based in El Segundo, CA, Palmdale, CA, San Diego, CA or Melbourne, FL. Virtual work arrangements will also be considered.

The ideal candidate is excited about understanding and implementing new and repeatable processes and providing data to improve operational effectiveness within the Talent Acquisition organization. They will partner with TA Leadership and dig deep into business challenges to understand and extract high value insights that will enable standards that improve our ability to continue to globally scale our business. They will be comfortable delivering/presenting these recommended solutions by retrieving and integrating artifacts in a format that is immediately useful to improve the business decision-making process. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as an outstanding business acumen. The ideal candidate starts with the customer (internal and external) and works backwards to create structured processes and mechanisms that drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute analytic projects in collaboration with TA leadership
  • Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data to help automate and optimize key processes
  • Analyze and validate data to ensure high data quality and reliable insights.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to improve data assets, quality, metrics and insights.
  • Proactively identify opportunity areas for deep dive investigations and future program development.
  • Deliver recruiting and workforce metrics & scorecards to help inform leadership of progress, and surface new opportunities and areas of focus.
  • Provide ad-hoc or special project data analysis to recruiting and business leaders that enable them to achieve their goals, drive decision making and create new strategies where necessary.
  • Gather and manage large datasets from multiple sources.
Please note, this position can be filled by either a level 2 or a level 3 candidate. Please reference basic requirements (must have's) below.

Basic Qualifications
  • For a Level 2 position: Bachelors degree with at least 3+ years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 1+ years
  • For a Level 3 position : Bachelors degree with at least 6+ years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 4+ years
  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint; Excel in particular demonstrated ability to work with large data sets (ability to create story telling reports)
  • Discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Demonstrated customer service experience; problem solving; collaboration - interfaces with all levels of leadership and employees
Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday a plus, though not required
  • Proven experience prioritizing workload
  • SharePoint, advanced knowledge a plus
  • Attention to detail; quality and accuracy is key
  • Project management; agile skills a plus
  • Strong organizational skills

Salary Range: $64,600 USD - $112,300 USD

Salary Range 2: $79,700 USD - $138,400 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
