Data Reporting Analyst

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in Tampa, Florida. This role involves a blend of leadership and technical skills, with an emphasis on data analysis and reporting. The successful candidate will be joining a hybrid work environment, with some days based in the office and others remote. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain complex reports using various tools such as Tableau, Crystal Reports, SSRS, and Oracle. Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure data accuracy and accessibility for reporting purposes. Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. Learn the business processes and data storage options to deliver efficient report and dashboard data. Develop a comprehensive reporting strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives. Design and create user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. Implement automation solutions to streamline report generation and data distribution processes. Establish data governance and best practices to maintain data quality and integrity. Provide training to end-users and stakeholders to maximize the utilization of reporting tools. Continuously optimize and enhance reporting performance and efficiency. Collaborate with various departments to understand their reporting needs and develop tailored solutions. Maintain comprehensive documentation for reporting solutions, data sources, and processes. Requirements Proficiency in database management and reporting tools Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server Familiarity with SSRS and Crystal Reports Strong understanding of Oracle database systems Ability to generate clear and concise reports Excellent problem-solving skills Good communication skills to convey complex data in an understandable manner Ability to work independently and in a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Relevant work experience in data analysis or a related field.
