RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Data Scientist in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FL).
Summary:As a Data Scientist in the organization, you have an unparalleled opportunity to use your quantitative skills in statistics, machine learning, operations research, and programming skills in Python and SQL. You will answer high impact open questions for the business team, prototype ML algorithms, productize the algorithm in collaboration with the PIE team, design Randomized Control Trial (RCT), Quasi experimentation to test your hypothesis, and drive business insights through data.Responsibilities include: Defining and evaluating key metrics for revenue optimization A Data Scientist will write white papers that can be shared outside on various forums and present to business stakeholders to explain solution to various problem statements Creating forecast models for demand and supply to enable revenue management teams to optimize pricing The Data Scientist will lead, build, maintain machine learning models such as dynamic pricing engine and personalized pricing engine that are core to our success as a marketplace for private aviation Building machine learning models and guiding a team of junior data scientists to solve complex problems for different divisions including sales, marketing, flight operations, and consumer growth Summarizing results and building dashboard to present findings to guide other stakeholders to make data driven decisions A Data Scientist is performing customer segmentation and analysis based on various features to understand price elasticity of various user segments Performing model evaluation and testing to improve accuracy and robustness The Data Scientist will maintain and update machine learning models to stay ahead of the change Work with product managers and engineers to turn prototypes into robust, reliable solutionsREQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in a quantitative field like Math, Statistics, or Machine Learning 5+ years experiences of professional industry experience in machine learning (Experience with models and analysis for pricing, targeting and experimentation a plus) Deep understanding of machine learning algorithm and statistics Strong in Python and SQL (Proficiency in NoSQL database technologies a plus) Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to cross functional partners of varying technical levels Experience with platforms such Data Bricks, Sage maker, etc.Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
