Position: Database Analyst

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geography, Natural Resources, Computer Science, or related field of study.
Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis and additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis.

GIS-related

3+ years experience with combined ArcGIS Desktop and/or ArcGIS Pro
3+ years experience with ArcGIS Pro
2+ years experience with configuring ArcGIS Online web maps
3+ years experience developing GIS data
3+ years experience creating maps using documented cartographic design principles
2+ years experience publishing GIS data to ArcGIS Server map services
2+ years experience Python scripting for Esri GIS desktop products such as GIS data processing tasks
2+ years experience with SQL programming accessing GIS datasets and/or MS SQL tables/views

GIS Web Mapping Application Development

3+ years experience developing ArcGIS Web AppBuilder and/or Experience Builder applications using the developer edition of these applications
3+ years experience Javascript, CSS, HTML programming
2+ years experience with Google Maps API
2+ years experience with ASP.NET Core with C#
2+ years experience with PHP
Experience building ADA-compliant GIS web mapping applications
Experience developing mobile compatible GIS web mapping applications
Experience providing analytical services on systems to implement user-defined requirements
Experience providing analytical services on systems to identify operational efficiencies
Experience collecting system requirements with business program staff
Experience producing work estimates to implement user-defined requirements
Experience testing system changes to meet user-defined requirements
Experience facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT) with business program staff
Experience in change management best practices, serving in a code promotion role in partnership with development team
