Each staff member assigned to this project must have a background screening that is equivalent to a Level Two (2) screening standard.This is a fixed fee/hourly based project which is inclusive of travel, lodging, per diem expenses and all other costs associated with the completion of the associated tasks.

Face to Face Interviews: If interviews are conducted, candidates that are located outside of the Tallahassee, Florida, area may be interviewed initially via Skype video; however, a face-to-face interview at the OIT in Tallahassee, Florida, may be required prior to final selection of the Respondent for performance of the services. Due to current concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department will require that social distancing measures be observed during the face-to-face interview (e.g., six-foot separation requirements between participants).

Telecommuting: Telecommuting is not an option for this position.

Scope of Work.The Contractor shall provide Information Technology (IT) staff augmentation services in support of the Department’s Office of Information Technology (OIT), Bureau of Enterprise Applications. The Contractor must provide the qualified Applications Development Analyst proposed in its Response, and selected by the Department, who has the experience and ability to fulfill the requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW).

Contractor Responsibilities.a. Database Analyst Task List. The Contractor’s Representative shall perform the following tasks, as necessary, to complete work assigned by the Department’s Contract Manager:1. Perform insurance company data analysis and data migration across different database environments/platforms.2. Document data interfaces and data mappings; analyze and interpret data; and conduct data sourcing activities.3. Develop data mapping, data validation, data reports, and support existing applications using SQL Server programming such as stored procedures, functions, triggers, and writing complex queries.4. Work with large volumes of data and write highly efficient and optimized queries.5. Establish database design techniques using data modeling and prototyping software.6. Perform ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.7. Use Informatica Data Quality tools or similar tools, including rule development, mapping and mapplets, and Data Quality dashboard design.8. Work with data stewards, data quality, and data dictionaries.9. Work with developers and supervisors to assure specifications are understood and followed.10. Work with existing systems developed using technologies like Visual FoxPro and Visual Basic, and use reverse engineering technique to extract business rules and validations.11. Document business rules and requirements, and design and execute Data Quality checks.12. Work with business users and other peers for testing, debugging, and providing testing results documentation.13. Seek out new problems and develop solutions, while demonstrating a sense of ownership.14. Work with infrastructure team for database and data migration projects.15. Provide weekly project status report to reporting supervisor.

MANDATORY Technical/Business Skill Set Requirements ((must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks)A bachelor's degree in one of the computer science fields or in management information systems, or four (4) years of work experience in IT, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, or program evaluation. 10-12+ years of experienceExperience working Data Migration projects across different environments.Experience with SQL Server programming and development skills, including development of integration packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, scheduled jobs and writing complex SQL queries.Experience working with large volumes of data and use of ETL tools like SQL Server or similar.Experience working with Data Quality, validation, profiling and cleansing data using Informatica DQ or similar tools.Experience testing, debugging and creating documentation related to data work.Experience with SQL Server, migration, upgrade, creating and troubleshooting SSIS packages, SSRS reports and basic administration.Have you worked with older technologies like Foxpro or Visual Basic?Preferred Qualifications

Experience reviewing current code in FoxPro, SSIS packages and data junction to prepare “As Is” to convert “To Be”.Experience providing periodical status reports and participating in stand-up meeting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.Ability to seamlessly create and configure data objects, profiles, expressions, creating scorecards and metrics.Exceptional knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures and views. Ability to test and debug DQ components created.
