Day Shift Inventory Control Clerk and QC Bound

Schedule: Monday through Friday 4:00am to 12:00pm

General Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for keeping the inventory accurate through cycle counts, assisting logistics manager and plant manager in the administration of quarterly inventories, and other duties as assigned by the Plant Operations Manager.

Essential Duties:

1. Schedule all inbound raw material shipments.

2. Perform QC inspection on all inbound shipments.

3. Perform QC inspection and tests on daily production items

4. Enter all inbound raw material into Macola in a timely manner.

5. Responsible for Inventory Control.

6. Performs cycle counts daily following a strict schedule.

7. Perform inventory adjustments in the production system daily.

8. Responsible for accelerated quarterly cycle counts.

9. Coordinates with plant manager and production control for year-end physical inventory.

10. Enters daily production work orders into MRP system.

11. Production Scheduler as needed

12. Shift leader fill in as needed.

13. Schedule inbound loads as needed.

14. Present a professional and cordial attitude towards plant visitors and customers.

15.All other duties as assigned by the Plant Operations Manager

Job Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Production & Inventory Control is preferred

Strong verbal and written communication & math skills required

Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent, some college preferred

Driver's License and Forklift Experience Required preferred.

Extremely detail oriented and meticulous with good organizational skills

Must have general understanding of computers with data entry skills

Strong clerical skills to help with any organizational & recording responsibilities

Must be self-motivated

Ability to take direction from management & work independently with minimal supervision
