Our client a very busy Principal is seeking to hire a TTP Design Assistant. This role is in West Palm, Florida. The person in this role might be asked to travel to NJ and the Hamptons as needed. In office hours can range on the day but between 9am - 6pm. This position requires someone with proven experience in a fast paced, demanding role.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist the lead designer in all aspects of the design processPrepare detailed proposals, presentations, and mood boards to present to PrincipalSource furniture, fabrics, lighting, and accessories from vendors and trade resourcesCreate floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using computer-aided design (CAD) softwareManage vendor relationships and orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveriesStay up-to-date on current design trends and make suggestions for projects as appropriateAssist with installation of projects, including hanging artwork, placing furniture, and styling accessoriesMaintain cleanliness and organization of work area and materialsUpdate project files and maintain accurate records of invoices, contracts, and product samplesPerform administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and ordering suppliesResearch and ability to be resourceful and track down information/unique itemsEXPERIENCE:BA in interior design or related field is highly preferred but not requiredMinimum of 2+ years of experience in interior designMicrosoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, PhotoshopExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independently, as well as part of a teamA strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detailExceptional organizational and multi-tasking skillsAbility to remain calm and composed during demanding periods, meet deadlines - "thick skinned" personality with a real sense of urgencyProactive, motivated and "can do" attitudeAbility to problem solveComfortable working in a home office that includes childrenSchedule M-F, some weekends, available on email/ phone 24/7Valid driver's LicenseCOMPENSATION/BENEFITS:Paying between 85K - 100K DOE + Discretionary Bonus + Fully Paid Medical/Dental Benefits + LunchBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
