Description We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst based in Miami, Florida. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to the user community, resolving issues related to the design, development, and deployment of desktop hardware and applications. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the telecom industry.Responsibilities: Apply troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to assist users with issues related to desktop hardware and applications. Perform hardware and software installations, desk moves, and changes as required. Collaborate with project teams, participating in project testing for desktop dependencies. Work collaboratively across IT and Business teams to quickly resolve desktop issues, set up, and maintain desktop configurations. Keep desktops current with the latest patches and updates. Take responsibility for the resolution of incidents assigned via the Incident Management System, ensuring timely resolution of tickets. Interface directly with partner teams to define application purpose, hardware/application dependencies, support standards, testing strategy, response requirements, and escalation points. Follow best practices for desktop support with a focus on continuous improvement. Work with IT Leadership to enhance customer satisfaction. Use skills such as Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Deskside Support, Windows 11, Microsoft SCCM, MS SCCM - System Center Config Manager, and Intune to effectively perform duties. Requirements Proficient in Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies Experience in EO/IR systems Knowledge of Mac Computers and Microsoft Familiarity with Active Directory Expertise in Computer Hardware Understanding of Configuration Management Experience in Deployments and Deskside Support Proficiency in Windows 11 Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM and MS SCCM - System Cntr Config Mgr Familiarity with Intune Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated customer service skills Available for on-call support as needed Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
