We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Detailer to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetics and functionality of our heavy equipment fleet. As a Heavy Equipment Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning, washing, and detailing construction machinery and auto vehicles to ensure they operate at their best and present well to clients and stakeholders. Careful attention to detail will be integral to your work, requiring knowledge of various cleaning techniques and solutions suitable for heavy machinery. This position involves not only interior and exterior cleaning but also polishing and detailing of machinery to protect and extend the life of our equipment. Additionally, you will monitor and report any wear and tear or necessary repairs, assisting in maintaining an efficient and safe work environment. Also greasing of all equipment, allowing for a cohesive and well-maintained fleet. Responsibilities
Clean and detail heavy construction machinery and auto vehicles.
Wash and polish the exterior surfaces of equipment to maintain appearance.
Vacuum and clean the interiors of vehicles to ensure a pristine environment.
Inspect equipment for damage or excessive wear and report issues
Apply protective compounds as necessary to safeguard surfaces from elements.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when stock is low.
Collaborate with team members to schedule detailing during downtime of equipment.
Greasing of all equipment when needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in vehicle or equipment detailing is an advantage.
Familiarity with various cleaning products and tools for heavy machinery.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and physical environments.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
