JOB DUTIES: Identify and develop new retail partnerships; grow existing partnerships; prepare funding and payment documents; develop new promotional ideas and materials for use in “Fresh From Florida” retail promotions and campaigns; and manage promotions and campaigns. Serve as Trade and Development’s expert on the Sales Force web-based ROI platform. Duties include insuring data entry accuracy, being a training/informational resource for section/division employees, documenting retail grocery ads and inputting results, preparation of Sales Force tracking/analysis reports, and establishing sales campaigns. Trade event planning and attendance is required on an as needed basis. Duties include contacting co-exhibitors, contributing promotional ideas, assembling show materials, and trade show attendance at various regional, national and international events. Assist with planning and implementation of events for the United States Department of Agriculture Cooperators. This includes market research for funding opportunism, planning and implementation of events and recruitment of companies to federal programs. Assist in educating Florida companies on the 50% cost share program. Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor, Assistant Division Director or Division Director.
