Description: Job Title: Director, Program Management Job Code: SAS20210905-61015 Job Location: Palm Bay, FL Job Description:L3Harris Space Systems is seeking a Program Management Director for Resilient Space programs in the Mission Solutions Division. Seeking a candidate that is passionate for balancing processes with rapid, agile delivery of End-to-End space systems within cost, schedule, performance and risk constraints. Overall responsibilities include: Essential Functions: Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial goals for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Directs the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, overseeing program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications. Works collaboratively with the functional organizations to ensure that all resources are available and empowered to meet program goals Work within a highly dynamic and changing environment and adapt to shifting customer priorities Direct work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, supply chain and administrative areas. Collaborate with division heads to develop and communicate business strategy Qualifications: Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance Bachelor Degree in engineering, and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience 4+ years managing employees 2+ years of working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS) 4+ years of previous experience managing development contracts. Preferred Additional Skills: Solid technical background with strong business acumen Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills Experience implementing strategies to influence external stakeholders for business advantage Knowledge of Government contracting practices Experience planning, organizing, and directing work that provides best value solutions to the customer and L3Harris.
