Why you'll love this job: Being a member of the DTCC Modernization Office team you will be responsible for managing enterprise reporting for programs and initiatives that are key to DTCC's strategic transformation. This position requires an experienced professional with the right mix of "long-game" forecasting and planning, the knowhow of an experienced operator that can manage the details of the roadmap. Your Primary Responsibilities :
  • Working closely with business and technology partners to understand roadmaps, scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
  • Leveraging previous experience, lead a team responsible for senior management and board reporting of the modernization portfolio, including risks, issues, dependencies, and metrics
  • Work with stakeholders to manage the risk, issue and change resolution process, and work with other leaders to take corrective action as needed; identify the 'path to green'
  • Implement an enhanced program management structure; establish processes, policies, and procedures for maintaining proactive program management oversight, escalation paths and decision-making support throughout the entire program life cycle
  • Support the budget planning process for modernization initiatives and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure execution against established business goals and objectives within budget
  • Capture stakeholder needs and expectations, gaining and maintaining stakeholder support, and mitigating opposition
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Talents needed for success:
  • 10+ years of program or portfolio management experience within the financial services space
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in program management for large scale, multi-year transformation efforts
  • Experience working with Agile (scrum) delivery processes
  • Able to work across functional and hierarchical boundaries to influence, discover and lead change

The Global Operations, Client Services & Administration group delivers world-class safety and soundness for the global financial services industry. The team provides DTCC's portfolio of core securities and superior transaction processing and client services support in an environment that minimizes risk and cost while maximizing efficiency.
