Dispatcher for Courier Company

A leading Transportation company based in Miramar Florida is looking for an experienced Dispatcher. In this role you will assign open orders for drivers to complete within required time parameters. This position requires strong communication and customer service skills, effective multitasking, good sound judgment and initiative.

Responsibilities include prioritize, assign and coordinate all work to ensure our customers’ needs are met on a daily basis. Communicate in a clear, concise and tactful manner with both customers and drivers. Ability to prioritize and resolve customers’ issues within a timely manner. Communicate with customers on phone or email to assure updated information has been received.

Required Skills: Bi-Lingual English and Spanish language a must. Working knowledge of MS Windows 2010, MS Office, Outlook, Excel and Word. Some knowledge of the geographic territory in Florida covered by our company or willingness to learn.

Job Requirement: Experience in on-demand and scheduled courier service dispatching. Dependable with consistent attendance. Proof of US Citizenship, Alien Registration Card or Permanent Resident. Valid Driver’s License and Social Security. Must be 25 years of age. Clean Motor Vehicle record. Subject to background check and drug screening.

Compensation Salary commensurate with experience. Position available is M-F. From 0800 thru 5 pm, (to be confirmed).
