Dry Cleaning Machine (union) Operator Pt/ft

This is a management position. Proven experience is a must! Part time or Full time .

There are 2 positions open: 1 in Bartow & 1 in Winter Haven

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate and monitor dry cleaning machines, including washers, dryers, and presses

Add chemicals and clean lint traps

Remove lint and debris from dryer screens and filters

Label items upon receipt and include cleaning instructions

Remove spots and stains using cleaning agents

Hang or fold items when cleaning is complete

Label items when ready for pickup or delivery

Inspect machinery and perform maintenance including boiler

Place orders with vendors

Change press pads

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience in a dry cleaning or commercial laundry environment

Proficiency in operating dry cleaning machinery

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Knowledge of fabric types and appropriate cleaning methods

Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely

Ability to follow specific instructions and cleaning protocols
