Growing together.The Interface Analyst (IA) role will be responsible for working directly with clients and partners of CYC and developing data interface requirements that allow effective, accurate and timely electronic data exchange to occur. The IA will be expected to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment that requires significant coordination, communication and cross-functional support. The IA role will support full lifecycle data integration needs, including: requirements gathering, data mapping, testing, deployment and on-going support. This role requires high levels of organization, attention to detail and the ability to multitask across a variety of projects.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Interface Analyst:
Prepares and updates file specifications and technical documentation
Conducts file consultations to discuss data exchange best practices and protocols to promote standardization for new file setups
Identifies and analyzes data requirements to support required system behavior and implementation success and outlines gaps between standard and non-standard processes.
Acts as liaison with developers and business stakeholders, creating strong working relationships across departments
Develops requirements to be used by interface developers to create custom data transformations
Coordinates and performs testing on all assigned interface projects. Analyzes data and provides testing results and corrective actions to data partners.
Coordinates and supports file delivery / transport schedules, protocols and processing
Supports implementation of process improvement opportunities
Senior Interface Analyst:
All Interface Analyst I functions, plus the following:
Solutions complex data interface requirements across both inbound and outbound data exchanges to ensure data integrity, accuracy and that the coordination of all interfaces work seamlessly together
Defines test plans and standard operating procedures that ensure business requirements and system capabilities are appropriately aligned.
Consults clients and internal stakeholders into best practices with experience that identifies benefits, risks and challenges.
Designs optimized solutions that are maintainable when standard best practices cannot be achieved.
Provides review, guidance, support and training to other team members
Manages both implementation projects as well as ongoing support / maintenance needs
Responsible for task management, ticket/issue triage and coordination

2+ years experience with data analysis, systems integration or ETL
2+ years experience working in a service delivery organization
Experience in handling electronic data exchange of information
Solid understanding of secure file transmission protocols
Knowledge of data file formats and 834 data sets for enrollment and eligibility
Ability to understand and implement business requirements specific to data exchange
Experience working with insurance providers and/or Third Party Administrators in a similar capacity
Proficiency with common data analysis tools such as Excel or Access
Ability to support multiple, simultaneous projects / tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of industry, HR, benefits or related experience
SQL experience
Understanding of creating technical specifications and test plans
COBRA knowledge
