Essential Functions50% - Use Electrical Engineering knowledge to support the definition and assessment of interoperability of various electronic systems on flight vehicles and associated support equipment. This will include the design and maintenance of schematics and other related engineering documentation. This may also include defining electronic system architecture, electronic assembly design, performance predictions, and external vendor support for various engineering assemblies.25% - Provide Electrical Engineering expertise to support the integration and troubleshooting of a wide range of electronic assemblies. This will include opportunities to lead non-conformance investigations and corrective actions. This may also include opportunities to be an active participant during system level testing, flight events, and associated missions.25% - Provide Electrical Subject Matter Expertise during Acceptance and Qualification Testing of Electronic Assemblies used in an Aerospace/Defense Application.RequirementsA Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree, with 2 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional Requirements:

Experience with schematic capture tools

Posession of fundamental circuit analysis skills

Knowledge of/Experience with lab equipment and electronics troubleshooting

Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical professionals at all levels

Experience using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement
