Electronics Technician

Description Robert Half has a brand new opening for an Electronics Technician with an Electronic Test Equipment client in Fort Myers, FL.This is a 1-2 month contract, with possibility of a permanent rollover. Full-time hours (flexible hours), ON-SITE in Fort Myers (33908). 6+ years experience in electronics troubleshooting hardware/software

Experience with AC/DC power sources and Test Equipment

Experience being handed circuit boards with a written fault and troubleshooting/performing self-assembly from there

Requirements

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of both AC/DC and Analog/Digital circuitry to include EHT applications

Ability to troubleshoot/repair complex circuitry utilizing proprietary software and hardware

Ability to read/interpret schematics and mechanical drawings

Strong knowledge of test equipment uses to include Oscilloscope/Digital Multi Meter/Power Meter/Variable AC and DC power source

Experienced with soldering/desoldering both surface mount/through hole devices

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, data base, computer experience, ability to type and document accurately
