What You’ll Do:
  • Manages end-to-end email production that supports our eCommerce business – includes coding, development, deployment, and analysis of email campaigns, utilizing a major ESP (i.e., Zeta, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Develops complex and customized HTML email code, including responsively designed email templates and new that adheres to industry best practices
  • Develops and codes complex email templates from scratch, modifies and updates existing templates in HTML/CSS, and troubleshoots existing email code as needed.
  • Perform day-to-day execution of email campaign development, QA and deployment processes.
  • Execute all email promotion set up, load all email assets into email system, trouble shoot potential issues.
  • Coordinate creative reviews and approvals with cross-functional teams. Facilitate and document feedback and manage handoffs.
  • Work with email service provider on specifications and development of campaign functionality.
  • Examine all creative assets to ensure that creative is optimized for delivery and performance and meets creative brief specifications.
  • Test all messages to ensure emails are rendering correctly across major email clients, promotional codes are live and functioning properly, all landing pages and featured products are live and pricing coordinates between email and site.
  • Send testing notifications of daily emails to all business partners.
  • Schedule and participate in weekly email meetings.
  • Report on email campaign results and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Document all email policies and processes.
  • Position requires some off-hours and weekend monitoring.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of hands-on email production experience in relevant industry executing marketing campaigns
  • Highly proficient in coding html emails, ability to write CSS, and trouble-shoot for mail client-specific limitations.
  • Experience in coding emails for responsive design is required.
  • Familiarity with dynamic personalization & audience segmentation
  • Advanced knowledge of the latest HTML, CSS, and JavaScript techniques for use in a variety of custom marketing executions. Understanding of marketing principles resulting in branding building, driving traffic and revenue
  • Knowledge of CRM and campaign management

Preferred:
  • Proficiency in Dreamweaver/Photoshop skills
  • Experience working with one or more Email Service Providers (Experian, Yesmail, ExactTarget/Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Zeta, etc.)
  • Experience using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and other marketing automation platforms
  • Understanding of CAN-SPAM and email best practices
  • Knowledge of ESP-specific scripting languages (i.e., liquid scripting, AMPscript, etc.
  • Must be a detail- and process-oriented, efficient, dependable and a collaborative team player.
  • Should thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and Website Content Management principles.
  • Experience using Adobe Campaign Standard or other email platform, preferred.
