Embedded Software Engineer

Our direct client is seeking experienced Software Engineers for long term contract opportunity based in Orlando, FL. The engineer will develop embedded software for a hard real-time operating system on custom hardware. Development is first coded using Linux operating system (OS) but moved to the deployed real-time OS for final testing and delivery. Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C applications. Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C. Tools and other non-embedded code may be developed on Windows OS.

Security Requirements

  • Must have Department of Defense, Secret Clearance that has been adjudicated within the last 5 years to start employment or be enrolled in Continuous Evaluation (CE) with adjudication of less than 5 years

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field with significant software development experience.
