As an Engineering Technician I, you will perform general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair tasks that support the daily operations of the resort. Working under the direction of resort leadership, you'll assist with projects across multiple trade disciplines while helping ensure an exceptional guest experience.In this role, you demonstrate Westgate's core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction.What You'll Do as an Engineering Technician I: Complete preventative maintenance, guest service requests, engineering projects, and resort improvement tasks as assigned.
Perform general maintenance, including painting, caulking, drywall, and minor wall repairs.
Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and fixture repairs.
Install, replace, and troubleshoot televisions, remote controls, and other electronic equipment.
Assist with inventory management and ensure tools and materials are available for assigned work.
Utilize maintenance management software (HotSOS and other applicable systems) to complete work orders.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other maintenance equipment.
Identify and report safety hazards while following all company safety procedures.
Communicate professionally with guests, team members, and leadership to resolve maintenance concerns.
Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional guest service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
