- Maintain in-depth knowledge of program and customer goals and plans.
- Document and develop in-depth knowledge of organization's existing IT architecture and infrastructure, and technology portfolio.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
- Develop, document, make recommendations, and communicate plans for investing in IT infrastructure, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities.
- Provides critical insight and guidance for the preparation and maintenance of all documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
- Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, always on the lookout for new technologies, and works with management to evolve current processes.
- Drives scalability and operability of supported systems/infrastructure.
- 5+ years’ experience in systems engineering, or solution architect or systems architect roles.
- BA/BS Degree or higher in field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering or relevant degree.
- Professional level certification relevant to enterprise architecture
- Current DoD Secret or higher clearance or ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret or higher clearance.
- Familiar with Architectural Frameworks.
- Familiar with ITIL conformant Architecture Design Package creation and maintenance.
- 8570 Compliance (IAT level II compliant certification and Operating System Computing Environment certification).
- ITIL Certification.
