Enterprise Architect Position Description We are seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our team. The selected candidate will work a hybrid schedule consisting of three (3) days each week onsite in Tallahassee and two (2) days each week remotely. Summary: The primary function of this position is to provide technical expertise and systems analysis to assist the Enterprise Systems Office in their work to manage and support the Office 365 and Azure environment. This candidate must have a working knowledge of configuring services, supporting, monitoring and maintaining an enterprise-level Microsoft cloud environment. Education A bachelor's degree from a college or university and seven years of experience in computer systems analysis, computer programming or in planning or designing distributed computer systems; or a bachelor's degree from a college or university with major course of study in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems. - Five years working Experience maintaining a Microsoft Office 365 environment Required
- Three years working Experience administering a Microsoft Azure Environment Required.
- Experience with Windows Server 2012 or higher is highly desired.
- Experience with PowerShell or other scripting is highly desired.
- Experience working on project teams is desired.
- Experience developing technical processing documentation
- Maintain and monitor administrative portal for new features/services and provide recommendations for management regarding the use and/or impact of these features/services.
- Plan, design and coordinate cloud technology and collaboration services.
- Administer support for cloud and collaboration services such as portal management, user provisioning, rights management, messaging, and other services.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation as assigned.
- Develop testing plans for new features. Document and implement new features of Office 365 and Azure systems.
- Create PowerShell scripts to complete tasks.
- Support on-premises and Azure Windows servers which support the Office 365 environment.
- Ability to identify problems and to generate different approaches to resolve problems.
- Knowledge in the use of logic and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches.
- Skill in interpreting and communicating technical information both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to administer electronic e-mail in a large enterprise environment.
- Ability to function as an enterprise administrator for current versions of Enterprise Collaboration Software.
- Ability to design, develop and implement database backup schemes and recovery procedures.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
- Knowledge of PowerShell and/or other scripting tools.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to organize, properly document, and maintain technology project documents as necessary.
- Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and prioritize work assignments.
