This position will require the person to be onsite at least 2 days a week in Orlando, FL Pay Range for this position $125,000 to $165,000 per year Director of IT The IT Director will be responsible for all enterprise initiatives including Applications Development, Infrastucture, Helpdesk, Secruity, Storage, and Networking. Ideal candidate will have finance services experience. The right person will have a blend of leading development and infrastructure (security) teams and have experience working with other C-level executives. The Senior Director of Information Technology leads the organization's technology efforts ensuring the availability and continuity of technology assets. In this role the incumbent is charged with providing the vision, oversight, and execution of the information technology strategy for the entire organization, which includes network infrastructure, technology platforms, telephony, enterprise applications, development, support systems hardware, cybersecurity, data integrity, and help-desk functions that support the organization's long-term objectives, mission, and vision. Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a responsive team dedicated to helping the organization optimize and transform Information Technology while promoting leading edge processes, techniques, and policies to support business growth.
  • Define and drive effective, business-aligned short- and long- term strategies for the organization.
  • Align IT objectives, programs and risk-management initiatives to enterprise objectives and strategy.
  • Responsible for the technology vision and planning process that will regularly evaluate existing technology systems.
  • Implement processes to identify and mitigate risks of data control and loss to the organization. Ensure and monitor security compliance as it relates to any changes in legislation.
  • Define and adjust IT standards and technologies as appropriate.
  • Optimize costs of organization-wide infrastructure and application services through an appropriate mix of internal and external resources.
  • Establish and maintain strategic service provider partnerships.
  • Effectively communicate IT vision and plans in understandable terms throughout the organization.
  • Facilitate communication between management, staff, and customers to ensure an effective approach to implementation of IT solutions.
  • Define performance metrics for IT to align with overall business objectives.
  • Lead, manage and mentor departmental subgroups and staff to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction and provide ongoing value.
  • Participate in the development and oversight of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and Crisis Communications programs.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management
Required Work Experience:
  • 10 years in a senior IT leadership role
  • Measurable prior success in IT Strategic Planning/Policy Development
  • Strong business acumen. Proven ability to apply business principles and techniques of administration, organization, budgeting, and management to include an in depth understanding of the key business issues that exist in a financial services industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative style to ensure that IT activities align with current and long-term business goals
  • Success in working across organizational structures to effectively provide vision, strategic direction and comprehensive plans for action to help the business meet organizational objectives
  • Adept at communicating technical topics in a clear, consistent manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to balance a wide variety of priorities and influence key players to achieve tangible outcomes
  • Experienced working in and running both hardware and software environments
  • Skilled at assessing organizational systems, resources, and staff skillsets and develop clear steps to accomplish improvements and achieve departmental objectives
  • Understanding of a formal SDLC and experience managing enterprise software systems and software development projects
  • Manage change successfully
