- We are seeking a skilled ERP Software Development Engineer specializing in customization and integration to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customizations and integrations for our ERP software solutions. Your expertise in ERP systems, software development, and integration technologies will be vital in ensuring the successful customization and integration of our software to meet our clients' unique business requirements.Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements: Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and project managers to gather and analyze business requirements for ERP software customization and integration projects.
- Design customizations: Develop technical design specifications and solution architectures for ERP software customizations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop customized features: Write high-quality code to implement customizations within the ERP software, utilizing appropriate programming languages and frameworks.
- Implement integrations: Design and develop integration solutions to connect the ERP software with external systems, such as CRM, financial systems, or third-party applications, ensuring data consistency and seamless information flow.
- Test and debug: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting of customized features and integrations to ensure their functionality, performance, and stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other software developers, quality assurance engineers, and technical support teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of customized features within the ERP software.
- Documentation and maintenance: Create technical documentation, including specifications, user guides, and API documentation, to facilitate future enhancements and support activities. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for customized features and integrations.
- Stay up to date: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in ERP systems, customization, and integration to continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the advancement of the organization's capabilities. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience using a variety of software development technologies including, but not limited to C#, .net, T-SQL, SSRS
- Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.
- Experience using JIRA or Azure Dev Ops
- Experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) or other source code repository
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and propose innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Previous experience in ERP software development or customization is highly desirable.
