Description We are in search of an Event Coordinator to be a part of our team in Tamarac, Florida. This role primarily involves planning and executing events, managing logistics, and utilizing Microsoft Office Suites for efficient operation. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity, offering a challenging and rewarding work environment.Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate events in line with the objectives of the organization. Utilize Microsoft Office Suites for effective planning and organization of events. Handle all logistics related to events such as venue selection, transportation, and catering. Closely monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met. Act as the main point of contact for all event inquiries and issues. Ensure all event activities comply with legal, health, and safety regulations. Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful execution of events. Maintain comprehensive event documentation and reports for future reference. Evaluate event outcomes based on key metrics and prepare detailed reports. Continually research market trends to propose new ideas for improving event quality and effectiveness. Requirements Must possess strong skills in Event Planning, including managing timelines, coordinating vendors, and overseeing event logistics. Proven experience in Logistics is required, with an emphasis on coordinating vendors, transportation, and event setup and teardown. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is a necessity. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed for interacting with clients, vendors, and team members. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. A background in customer service or hospitality is preferred to ensure excellent service to clients and event attendees. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential for coordinating with various stakeholders in event planning. Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as many events may occur outside of traditional business hours. Demonstrated problem-solving skills are required for addressing any issues or complications that may arise during event planning or execution. A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
