Vacuum Truck Rental is looking for highly motivated, experienced diesel mechanic who are willing to work on Vacuum Trucks and Equipment and to learn new skills and grow within our fast-paced company at our location in Lakeland, FL.

Immediate openings for the right candidates

Responsibilities and Duties: including but not limited to

Perform preventative maintenance

Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete repairs on all types of vacuum trucks and

equipment, utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable all with minimal supervision.

Willing to learn vacuum trucks & equipment operations and safety procedures

Training will be provided on Check In and Check Out process on rental equipment.

DOT/Tank Inspections (VTR will train and provide certification classes off site)

Maintains a clean shop and work area

Qualifications and Skills:

Must have a valid driver license - no more than 4 points or suspensions

High school Diploma/GED

Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen /Criminal Background/Driving History

Must have own tools to complete tasks

There is a 90-day Probation Period upon employment

Current CDL- B or A preferred (but not required)

Hydraulic, Electrical, Drivetrain, PTO Systems, Clutches and AC Experience

Basic Computer Skills/ Word /Excel / Outlook - Preferred

Welding/Fabricating Experience - Preferred
