Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced / Senior Software Engineer to join the Cyber Range team located in Eglin AFB, FL where we work on multiple Boeing programs. Leads activities to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems

Leads development of code and integration of complex software components into a fully functional software system

Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met

Provides technical leadership for software projects and leads software supplier management activities

Leads development, selection, tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metrics

Plans, executes and documents software research and development projects

Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations

Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards. Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is requiredBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree

3+ years of experience combination test planning and execution experience including; Cyber Test and Evaluation activities such as penetration testing, threat, adversity and risk analysis, and exploitation tool development, tailoring, and use and general cybersecurity engineering

3+ years of experience with software development and/or troubleshooting software

Experience with Software Engineering principles including, but not limited to, Software Configuration Management, Software Architecture and Design, and Software Life Cycle Management

3+ years’ experience do you have developing software for containerized architectures (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)Experience with Agile and Scalable Agile methodologies

3+ years of experience with C/C coding or java/python script development

1+ year experience do you have developing complex web applications

Knowledge of one or more of the following: MySQL, MariaDB, mongoDB, Postgres SQL, or no SQL

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

2+ years of systems administration experience

Experience Building pipelines, using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, GoCD

Knowledge of infrastructure configuration automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, etc.

5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

5+ years’ experience developing cyber range tools, including deployment automation, configuration automation, monitoring, and traffic generation

Expert knowledge of defensive and offensive cyber tools and TTP

Experience working with platform development, end-users (operators), and system developers

Extensive and varied experience designing realistic terrain, including global gray and target environments

3 + years’ experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols

Experience developing user simulators, which generate network and application traffic to simulate realistic users

Intermediate knowledge of software defined networking and network function virtualization (NFV)

Advanced knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies such as VMWare, Docker, HyperV, Xen, Kubernetes, etc.

Expertise in building out complex enterprise infrastructures using various operating systems and services (e.g., AD, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, VPN, email, databases, IIS, Apache, etc.)
