Description: At Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems, we are working on many exciting programs and developing cutting edge products and applications to meet the complex and evolving needs of our customers. We are looking for talented geospatial engineers to join our team, working with other engineering disciplines to help develop many best-in-class products and solutions.This Systems Engineering position will support the F-35 Training System programs and participate in the design of requirements and test procedures. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform system engineering team’s development activities that are necessary to successfully complete milestones leading up to the full verification, validation and delivery of product capabilities.The system engineering activities include providing technical oversight for: Visual database system requirements derivation, requirements management, requirements change management, system design development, system integration planning, system requirements verification, and system performance validation.This position may require unique program security clearances that will be initiated upon selection and acceptance in filling this position. Final approval of these security clearances is dependent upon the Department of Defense (DoD) and could take an extensive amount of time to be granted. During this waiting period, the work assignments directly related to this position will be limited. Therefore, auxiliary organization work assignments will be provided.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.This position requires an Interim Secret security clearance to start.Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required Experience in implementation of System Engineering practices in performing one or more of the following system requirements developments: system design development, system integration, or verification on complex aircraft simulation systemsDesired Skills: Configuration of image generators for virtual simulation Evaluation of computer graphics generation Measurement and testing of display systems Computer graphics pipeline Integration of visual display system components into virtual training simulators Experience with DOORS with documenting technical system requirements and traceability Familiar with performing gap analysis between customer requirements and available technologySecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
